Amnesty International’s statistics not correct. – MAFO

The Movement Against Fulani Occupation(MAFO) has faulted statistics released by Amnesty International on the number of deaths resulting from the farmers & herdsmen clashes in Benue State.

According to MAFO, about 10,000 farmers have been killed so far by the herdsmen contrary to claims by Amnesty International that only 726 deaths were recorded between 2016 and 2018.

The group at a press conference called on Amnesty International to conduct fresh investigations in the affected communities to ascertain the actual figure of those killed.
