The indefinite strike action called by Labour Unions in Kwara state over the non payment of N30,000 minimum wage, has been called off.
The unions agreed to call off the strike of after a meeting with representatives of the state government and have asked its members to resume work on Monday, while negotiations continue.
Chairman of the state branch of NLC, Alhaji Issa Ore, who confirmed this said “We have directed all our members to resume work on Monday, to enable us resume negotiation with the state government over the payment of the minimum wage.”
