Lagos set to reopen schools.

Public and private schools in Lagos State are free re-open from Monday, November 2, 2020.

A statement by the state’s Commissioner for Education, Mrs Folasade Adefisayo, states “The Lagos State Government has approved the re-opening of schools for all classes in public and private schools across the State beginning from Monday, 2nd of November, 2020 while boarders in public schools are to resume on Sunday, 1st of the same month.”

Schools in Lagos were closed as a result of last week’s violence and looting, which trailed the shooting of #EndSARS protesters at the Lekki toll gate.
