Following the release of President Buhari’s ministerial list earlier today, mixed reactions have been observed in the All Progressive Congress(APC) camp in Akwa Ibom state.
While friends, associates and admirers of the former Senate minority leader have taken to their various platforms to celebrate his emergence, associates of the party’s gubernatorial candidate, Obong Nsima Ekere have remained quiet, wondering what will happen if they lose at the elections petition tribunal.
Associates of the former NDDC boss had hoped he would make the list, just in case his gubernatorial dream fades.
Also missing on the list is the former governor of Lagos state, Akinwumi Ambode, whom many had hoped to make the ministerial list as compensation for how he was unceremoniously removed from office.
There are also speculations that the former governor will be assigned to the Niger Delta ministry.
