The Central Bank of Nigeria has revoked the operating licence of Skye Bank Nigeria Plc.

CBN Governor and Managing Director of Nigeria Insurance Deposit Corporation (NDIC), Mr Godwin Emefiele disclosed to newsmen the name change from Skye Bank to Polaris Bank.

He added that the CBN has injected N786 billion into the bank, while the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) has been directed to commence the process of sale of the bank from Monday and that depositors have nothing to worry about, while staffers will be retained under the new mana.
